Hello, I’m Mia Ionescu, the Founder and Designer of Haus of Ionescu.

I believe a space should never feel like an afterthought. It should have character, tell a story, and feel unmistakably connected to the brand behind it.

Trends come and go, but a brand is built to last. I’m drawn to the unexpected—the light fixture that becomes a focal point, the patterned fabric you wouldn’t normally pair with anything, or the piece of art that makes you stop and look twice.

That’s what I bring to my work.

Haus of Ionescu is a Northern California commercial interior design studio focused on creating spaces with personality, intention, and a strong sense of place. I work with businesses like salons, boutiques, coffee shops, and wellness spaces to create environments that feel connected to the brand and memorable to the people experiencing them.

My approach begins with understanding the business behind the space before jumping into the design. I value getting to know my clients, their vision, and the experience they want to create for the people walking through their doors. That connection allows me to take what matters most to them and translate it into a thoughtful, cohesive design—while bringing my own creative perspective and expertise to the table.

My design style leans warm, layered, and a little moody. I love rich woods, stone, brass, pattern, texture, and mixing unexpected details in a way that still feels refined.

Most importantly, I want my clients to walk into their finished space and feel like it could only belong to them.

Because good design shouldn’t just fill a room. It should give a business a presence.
